«ARCHIVO 1940: ESTUDIO ACUÁTICO», is a project born from a dream. One night in September 2020, I dreamed that I was a photographer’s assistant and his session was inspired by marine creatures. As soon as I woke up I wrote down everything I could remember and because of that dream I got in touch with a make-up artist, with whom I had been talking for a while about doing a collaboration.
My inspiration was Bego Antón with «The Earth is only a Little dust under our feet», a whole world full of fantasy through fairies and their habitat. Thanks to her I started looking for locations for my creatures, since they were all aquatic, I went looking for different aquatic habitats. Another photographer was Joan Fontcuberta with «Fauna» who has also inspired me to make hybrid creatures.
